Why does the calculator ask for active developer percentage?
Subscription seats are billed even when assigned users are inactive. The active percentage estimates how many people actually use the tool so you can see both the billed-seat cost and the effective cost per active developer.
Are Cursor on-demand usage and Copilot extra credits included?
Only when you enter them. Cursor says on-demand model usage is billed in arrears after included usage, while GitHub allows additional AI credit purchases on paid plans. Use recent invoices or admin usage data for these fields.
Are taxes, enterprise discounts, and currency conversion included?
Taxes are included only if you enter an uplift. The calculator excludes currency conversion, negotiated enterprise pricing, reseller terms, and unlisted promotions.
